PDP Laban Committees
PDP Laban serves all Filipinos regardless of party affiliation, religion, ethnic root, or social class, but takes more into account the welfare of marginalized and disadvantaged sectors.
Through its elected officials in Congress and local government units, and appointed officials in various government agencies, PDP Laban established committees that strongly advocate programs, projects and initiatives to attain an equitable economy, better livelihood, sustainable progress, and lasting peace for all regions in the country.

Committees that matter
PDP Laban has committees for the following sectors, seeking their protection and upliftment of their socioeconomic status:
PDP Laban recognizes the vital role women play in the economy. That is why the organization has different programs that aim to alleviate, if not, completely eradicate gender bias in all forms.
Prioritizing Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) is a focal point of PDP Laban’s call for change. Hence, the party strongly pushes and advocates programs and policies focusing on disability prevention, PWD rehabilitation, and giving equal opportunities to PWDs.
PDP Laban ensures that the promotion and protection of the rights and welfare of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are done through different activities and programs that directly connect with the Filipino labor workers overseas.
PDP Laban strongly believes that the youth are the country’s future. Hence, PDP Laban advocates that the youth be given access or guarantees of quality education, an environment free of crime, and quality jobs. The youth from the marginalized sectors also need special attention, as the upliftment of the youth, especially those from the poorest of the poor, can end the vicious cycle of poverty.
Every citizen has the right to engage in livelihood that will contribute to the greater good of the nation. This right can be exercised by citizens with the government creating laws and implementing programs and projects that support the creation of enterprises, especially the small and medium ones, and quality jobs.
PDP Laban is one with Indigenous peoples (IPs), whose ancestral customs, traditions and rights must be respected by all. The party also sees the needs for IPs to be mainstreamed into modern society—so they must also be given equal access to education, support to engage in livelihood, and quality jobs.
PDP Laban fully supports programs and projects to uplift the socioeconomic conditions of the country’s primary food producers – the farmers and the fishers. Their efforts to produce food for every Filipino should also be supported by policies and laws that will help increase their production and incomes, so they can also contribute more to economic growth.
The party also strongly advocates the mobilization of the country’s youth, as they are also key to the country’s future.
