WILTON KHO

Wilton “Tonton” T. Kho is the Representative of the Third District of Masbate at the House of Representatives, serving passionately his constituents for a second term. 

Rep. Tonton, as he is fondly called by his constituents, is the son of Masbate Governor Antonio Kho and the elder brother of Representatives Ricardo “Richard” T. Kho and Olga “Ara” T. Kho of the First and Second Districts of Masbate province, respectively.   

In the 19th Congress, Rep. Tonton serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Rural Development, and Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Government Enterprises and Privatization. He is a member of other House Committees, namely: Agrarian Reform, Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources, Civil Service and Professional Regulation, Cooperatives Development, Persons with Disabilities, and Public Order and Safety.   

Rep. Tonton is a true-blooded and genuine public servant, whose resolute commitment to his district and brand as a public servant is well reflected in his committee chairmanship and memberships: people’s empowerment and harnessing of human capital; growth and scaling up in agriculture; rural development and sustainable rural tourism; and good governance.   

Rep. Tonton is also a firm believer in education, having pursued his Master in Public Management from the University of the Philippines. He is also a dedicated and loving husband to an equally dedicated and dynamic public servant, Mandaon Mayor Kristine Salve Hao Kho.
