RICHARD GOMEZ

A popular actor who has starred in numerous films, Richard Gomez currently serves as the Representative of the Fourth District of Leyte in the House of Congress since 2022. 

Prior to getting elected to the House, Rep. Gomez served as Ormoc City Mayor from 2016 to 2022. 

Besides being a popular movie actor who also directed films and made starred in television, Rep. Gomez was a member of the Philippines team that won gold in the men’s team epee (fencing) event in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and served as the president of the Philippine Fencing Association since 2016.
