MOHAMAD KHALID DIMAPORO

Mohamad Khalid Dimaporo currently serves as the Representative of the First District of Lanao del Norte. 

He was first elected as a congressional representative in the May 13,2019election, winning by a landslide of 88,951 votes against three other contenders. Dimaporo was reelected as Lanao del Norte First District Representative anew in the May 2022 election with 87.87% or 108,498 votes.  

Rep. Dimaporo concurrently acts as the Chairperson of the House of Representatives’ Committee on Muslim Affairs. He is also a Vice Chairperson of the House Committee on West Philippine Sea. Moreover, the lawmaker is a majority member of the House committees on Marawi Rehabilitation and Victims Compensation; Banks and Financial Intermediaries; Civil Service and Professional Regulation; Constitutional Amendments; Dangerous Drugs; Foreign Affairs; Globalization and World Trade Organization; Human Rights; Nuclear Energy; Peace, Reconciliation and Unity; and Revision of Laws. 

Rep. Dimaporo is the son of former Lanao del Norte Rep. Abdullah “Bobby” Dimakuta Dimaporo, and currently Lanao del Norte Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo.
