MICHAEL RAMA

Michael Rama is currently the mayor of Cebu City, a position he also held from 2010 to 2016. Mayor Rama also served as vice mayor of Cebu City from 2001 to 2010 and from 2019 to 2021.

Currently, Mayor Rama is the national president of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) since 2022. As of July 2023, LCP had 149 cities as its members.

He started his political career by getting elected as councilor of Cebu City in 1992. Mayor Rama served a city councilor for three terms up to 2001.
