HERMILANDO MANDANAS

Hermilando “Dodo” Mandanas was born on March 25, 1944. He is the Governor of Batangas since 2016, and has served in the same position from 1995 to 2004. 

Gov. Mandanas was also the Representative of the Second District of Batangas from 2004 to 2013 in the House of Representatives. 

He is also the current chairman of the Regional Development Committee for Luzon Area under the Regional Development Committee of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), and chairman of the Regional Development Council (RDC) IV-A (Calabarzon), also under NEDA. 

Gov. Mandanas also had a stint in the private sector with Abacore Capital Holdings, Inc., a company listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange since 2014, as chairman and chief executive officer. 

He also had a stint with De La Salle University as a member of the Board of Trustees from 1978 to 1984; Associate Dean of the School of Commerce from 1970 to 1977; Chairman of the Department of Accountancy from 1967 to 1969; and Assistant Professor at the School of Commerce from 1965 to 1966.
