ROBIN PADILLA

A legend in Philippine cinema and show business, Senator Robin Padilla made history in the 2022 national elections by garnering 26.6 million votes, the highest for a candidate seeking a seat in the upper chamber of Congress.

It was Senator Padilla’s first bid for public officer.

And as a senator, Padilla has strongly championed the cause of Filipino Muslims, and was key in amending the Rice Tariffication Law, which is seen benefiting the country’s rice sector by extending the component where farmers will be given various types of support until 2031.

Also, he strongly advocated and pushed to give civil service eligibility to all casual at contractual workers in government, and using Filipino as the official language in documents.

Furthermore, Senator Padilla is for improvement of the lives of Filipinos through federalism, combatting criminality and corruption, and caring for the country’s natural resources and environment.

Currently the president of PDP Laban, Senator Padilla is known for his loyalty to the party and sincerity to serve all Filipinos.
